Wireless users demand reliable communications in diverse geographic locations, including inside large buildings and manufacturing facilities, apartments and high rise buildings, underground parking facilities, shopping malls, below ground basements, and metros and subway systems.
When wireless radio frequency (RF) signals encounter any material, they traditionally lose strength. When the RF signal levels dip below an adequate threshold, communications become either broken and incoherent, or even nonexistent.
In any area requiring radio coverage such as below grade or underground, it is almost certain a bi-directional amplifier (BDA) is needed to ensure reliable communication.
